Terms & Conditions
1) The “Promotional scheme” refers to “Shoppers Stop Diwali Campaign” (hereinafter referred to as the “Promotional Scheme”). The Promotional Scheme is valid across India except for the state of Tamil Nadu, at all the retail stores under the name ‘Shoppers Stop’, ‘SS Beauty Store’ of Shoppers Stop Ltd. (SSL) and at website/app www.ssbeauty.in (collectively referred to as the said Stores) and is open only to Indian citizens residing in India. ELCA standalone stores across India are not eligible to participate in the Promotional Scheme.
2) In order to participate in the Promotional Scheme, the customer is required to make net purchase from the said Stores from the beauty category (skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrances, nails) of not less than Rs. 7,000/- (Rupees Seven Thousand Only) in a single invoice.
3) Participating customer is required to register by submitting his valid cell phone number and full name at the time of billing by scanning the QR code displayed on the cash counter / website.
4) The Promotional Scheme is valid from the 14th Oct 2024 00:00 to 3rd Nov 2024 00:00 (both days inclusive) (Hereinafter referred to as the “Promotional Scheme Period”). There will be lucky draw conducted which is open to all customers who have participated in the Promotional Scheme. The lucky draw shall be held at the end of the campaign and name of 20 winners of the lucky draw will be informed to the respective winners on their registered mobile numbers shared by such customers at the time of registration. The decision of SSL shall be final and binding in this regard.
5) Direct friends, family members of SSL employees including the current employees and ex-employees of SSL are not eligible to participate in the Promotional scheme. Agencies, Service Providers of SSL and their family members are also not eligible to participate under this Promotional Scheme.
6) The prizes under the Promotional Scheme are as follows:
Ø Gift Vouchers from Marriot Bonvoy worth INR 30,000.
Ø The Prizes must be claimed by the winners within 7 days after being intimated by SSL to such winners, failing which the prizes shall be given away to another back up winner.
7) SSL shall make 3 attempts to reach each of the winner. In case the winner is not traceable or not reachable or does not receive the call for any reason whatsoever than in such event the same prize shall be issued to another back up winner.
8) Prizes once claimed cannot be transferred. These cannot be substituted for cash.
9) Purchases through use of discount coupons, point certificates and credit notes do not make one eligible to participate in the Promotional Scheme. A customer is eligible to participate in the Promotional Scheme on redemption of Gift vouchers/Gift cards, but not on purchase of the same.
10) SSL reserves its right to provide the unclaimed prize to back up winners at the sole discretion of SSL. If the winner fails to claim prizes then the back up winner(s) shall be eligible for the prizes who shall be intimated by SSL.
11) Prizes are subject to the laws of India.
12) Quality/Service of the prizes will be on As-is-basis. SSL does not give any guarantee or take any responsibility and / or liability for the prizes and in event of any query or complaint pertaining to the prizes, it should be taken up directly with the manufacturer of the products. SSL does not undertake any liability and/or responsibility for the same.
13) The gift tax will be deposited by SSL. The respective winners are required to share copy of PAN card for SSL to file GST. Failure to provide the PAN card will result in the winner draw becoming null and void and the 2nd draw winner will be declared the winner .
14) SSL is not liable and/or responsible for any of the prizes and damages to the prize or bodily harm to the prize claimant due to the use of the particular prize.
15) Promotional Scheme is subject to change without any prior intimation.
16) While claiming the prize, the winner must share - full name and valid proof of identity, PAN card and original cash memo(s) relevant to the qualifying purchase(s) for the entry into the Promotional Scheme. The winner will be deemed to accept the prize only upon the completion of the formalities. The winner should ensure to give an acknowledgement of the prize received.
17) Participants and / or the winner will not hold SSL responsible and/ or liable for any actions, claims, demands, damages defects, deficiency, losses, costs, charges and expenses which a participant and / or winner may suffer, sustain or incur by way of the Promotional Scheme or connected with the prizes, gifts or their collection, use, operation and / or application.
18) All winners will be notified over the registered phone number provided by the winner.
19) Upon being intimated the winners must complete and execute all the necessary documentation, indemnity formalities, liability agreement and writings as required by SSL which will be informed to the winner at the time the prize is being offered.
20) In the event on non-happening of the Promotional Scheme for reasons beyond anybody’s control or due to the Act of God, pandemic, government restrictions then neither SSL, nor its Directors, Managers, staff, employees, agents, sponsors nor their agents, successors or assigns shall be liable to all or any of the customers and / or participants and / or the winners and/ or any other person associated with this Promotional Scheme.
21) SSL reserves the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary any of the terms & conditions or to replace wholly or in part this Promotional Scheme by another scheme whether similar to this Promotional Scheme or not or to withdraw this Promotional Scheme including the prize(s) altogether without any notice.
22) Any dispute arising from the above Promotional Scheme or prize(s) offered herein is subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only.
23) Data collected for participation may be used for future communications for marketing and promotion.
